June 05, 2009 - Team Foremost Pegram Racing Aims to Keep Ducati on the Podium at Road America
Rider Larry Pegram rode a strong race to the podium on his Ducati 848 Superbike last year, and feels the chassis of its 1098 R big brother has what it takes to win this weekend. Following an extra week of preparations due to the series skipping Miller Motorsports Park, the Foremost Ducati squad has the bikes rebuilt and ready for action tomorrow.
“The Foremost Ducati 1098 R has been running well lately, and I’m fully recovered from my injuries earlier this season. Road America suits the Ducati’s chassis well, and the torque will come in handy accelerating onto the long front straightaway,” commented Pegram. “I’m looking forward to turning some fast laps in qualifying and fighting for the win in both races this weekend.”
